Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a dynamic Full Stack Developer for our Bengaluru office. You will design, develop, and support applications powering ExxonMobil’s Upstream business, collaborating with global teams across time zones.

The role demands strong Java/.NET background, cloud experience, and hands-on coding across full stack. You will work with Agile practices, modern auth, and microservices, contributing to scalable, secure software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 4 years hands-on software development experience.
• Minimum 2 years front-end in Angular or React.
• Minimum 3 years back-end in C#, ASP.NET Core (Web Apps, APIs).
• Minimum 2 years experience with .NET framework.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Microsoft Azure cloud development.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipeline configuration using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Experience with SQL Server and writing optimized queries.
• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
• Strong understanding of system design, microservices, and serverless computing.
• Ability to debug and profile desktop and web applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, scalable software solutions aligned with business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into working software.
• Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices including OOAD, SOLID, testing, and automation.
• Work independently across time zones and collaborate with global teams.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

• Experience with Python or willingness to upskill.
• Exposure to Oil & Gas industry and geoscience applications like Petrel or RokDoc.
• Experience with Docker, OpenShift, and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Spotfire.
