ExxonMobil in Bengaluru is seeking a dynamic Full Stack Developer to join our team. You will design, build, and support applications for ExxonMobil’s Upstream business, delivering across the full stack with modern UI, APIs, and cloud hosting on Azure.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of hands-on software development, strong frontend and backend skills, and experience with Azure, CI/CD, and SQL Server. Collaborative, technically-driven, and able to work across time zones.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on software development experience.
• 2+ years frontend development with Angular or React.
• 2+ years with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• 3+ years backend development using C#, ASP.NET Core (Web Apps, APIs).
• 2+ years experience in .NET framework.
• 2+ years Azure cloud development.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Experience with SQL Server and optimized queries.
• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
• Strong understanding of system design, microservices, and serverless computing.
• Ability to debug and profile desktop and web apps.

What role you will play in our team

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and resourceful Full Stack Developer to join our team at ExxonMobil’s Bengaluru office. This role is ideal for a hands‑on professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong communication and collaboration skills. You will be responsible for developing and supporting applications that serve ExxonMobil’s Upstream business.

What you will do

The Full‑stack Software Developer - Advanced independently delivers functionality across the full application stack, including robust frontend interfaces, backend services, and the supporting cloud infrastructure. This role applies strong understanding of modern UI frameworks, API design, authentication flows, and containerized or cloud‑native hosting environments such as Microsoft Azure. Advanced developers design and implement complex features, refactor legacy components, optimize application performance, and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems. They are trusted to serve as the technical lead for complex applications, driving solution design, ensuring adherence to software development best practices, and coordinating contributions from other developers.

About You

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on software development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of front‑end development using Angular or React.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Minimum 3 years of back‑end development using C#, ASP.NET Core (Web Apps, APIs).
• Minimum 2 years of experience with .NET framework.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft Azure cloud development.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipeline configuration using Azure DevOps (ADO) or GitHub.
• Experience with SQL Server and writing optimized queries.
• Familiarity with modern authentication and authorization using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
• Strong understanding of system design, microservices, monolithic architectures, and serverless computing.
• Ability to debug and profile desktop and web applications to resolve bugs and performance issues.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

• Experience with Python or willingness to upskill.
• Exposure to Oil & Gas industry and geoscience applications like Petrel or RokDoc.
• Experience with Docker, OpenShift, and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Spotfire.
