Job summary

Siemens is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack in Bengaluru. In this role you will design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web apps using C#, .NET Core, React, TypeScript, and Next.js.

You will build secure RESTful APIs, implement microservices, and craft robust front-ends with React. The position requires 5+ years of experience, strong API and frontend skills, knowledge of PostgreSQL and Dapper, and familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and AWS.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech./MCA/M.Sc. in CS/IT or related.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack software development.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core/.NET application development.
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and enterprise backend applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and modern front-end development.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and Dapper.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed application development.
• Good knowledge of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, object-oriented design, and common design patterns.
• Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
• Strong understanding of unit testing and software quality practices.
• Working knowledge of Git and Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of Docker and exposure to Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platform is desirable.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications using C#, .NET Core, React, TypeScript, and Next.js.

• Build and enhance backend services using microservice-based architecture with event-driven integration where applicable.
• Develop responsive and intuitive front-end applications using React and modern UI development practices.
• Design and optimize data access using PostgreSQL and Dapper.
• Follow Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and established design patterns to deliver maintainable and scalable software.
• Write comprehensive unit tests and ensure high code quality through automated testing.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in an Agile environment.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps.
• Support application deployment, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production issue resolution.
• Work with containerized applications using Docker and gain exposure to Kubernetes and AWS cloud environments.
