Job summary

Siemens in Bengaluru is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement end-to-end enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core/5+, and gRPC. You will participate in requirements discussions and craft technical solutions.

You should have 7–10 years of experience in software design and development, strong OOAD, Windows desktop and web app experience, and knowledge of testing frameworks. The role may involve travel to other locations; join a diverse team building the future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 7–10 years of design and development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with C#, .NET and enterprise applications.
• Experience in Windows desktop and web applications, OOAD, and design patterns.
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum development and analytical problem solving.
• Familiarity with Gen AI tools in daily development is a plus.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer

You’ll Make a Difference By

• Developer should be a technical expert who can design and implement end-to-end enterprise applications.
• He / She should participate in requirement discussions, analyze and understand the end user’s need and come up with technical solution.
• Design software components required for the application
• Implement the solution using the .NET Core C#
• Additional knowledge required on GRPC Communication and Protos
• Debug and fix problems in existing applications and support customers.
• Hands-on experience in development, testing, performance optimization, and Debugging (using .NET Profiler or Resharper dot Cover, dot Memory etc,)

• Being a graduate with 7-10 years of experience in design and development of software applications in C#, .NET(4.5 and above), .NET 8 & above, SQL Server/PostgreSQL, Design Patterns, gRPC, Unit Test framework like MS Test or Xunit
• Should have at least 5-7 years of experience in a process-oriented software organization.
• Strong hands-on knowledge in mainstream development language C#, .Net,
• Advanced experience in Windows Desktop & Web Application development
• Software design and development – Competence in Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experienced in Agile\Scrum development process
• Self-motivated, quick learner, with good verbal and written communication skills
• Hands-in experience in effectively leveraging Gen AI tools in day to day activities (GHCP, Claude Code..)
