Job summary

FlexBoard is a remote-first product-driven startup building a cannabis retail platform. We are hiring a Frontend Engineer (React) with 4+ years frontend experience to join our global team and help us build a fast, scalable UI using TypeScript, React, and modern tooling.

You will participate in design discussions, implement integration flows between internal apps, refactor legacy code, review PRs, and contribute to shared UI libraries.

Qualifications

• 4+ years frontend experience in a product company.
• Strong TypeScript and React fundamentals.
• Comfortable with React Context and async data (TanStack Query or similar).
• Good grasp of SSR and hydration concepts.
• Solid testing habits (unit + E2E).
• Experience with AI coding assistants and a thoughtful approach to their use.
• Bonus: experience with custom agents/skills/OpenAPI-driven codegen.

Responsibilities

• Participate in product discussions, planning, and technical design.
• Build and integrate flows between internal apps and customer-facing portals.
• Refactor legacy code and improve architecture incrementally.
• Review pull requests and mentor peers where helpful.
• Contribute to shared UI libraries used across portals and apps.
• Develop and maintain the UI component library across channels.
