Job summary

Fuller Technologies in Chennai, India, is seeking a Frontend Developer II to design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications for the ORS platform in the global cement industry.

You will collaborate with Product, Backend, DevOps, and UX teams to deliver secure, high‑performing interfaces, applying best practices and contributing to frontend architecture in an IIoT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of frontend development experience with modern web/mobile apps.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Angular) proficiency.
• Experience with REST APIs and frontend integration.
• Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web and mobile apps using modern frontend tech.
• Build responsive, intuitive UIs for industrial analytics.
• Integrate frontend with backend APIs and cloud services.

As a Frontend Developer II, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications supporting our Online Reliability Services (ORS) platform and digital solutions used across the global cement industry.

You will create intuitive, high‑performing user experiences that transform complex industrial equipment and reliability data into clear, actionable insights. Working within an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) environment, you will collaborate closely with Product, Backend, DevOps, and UX teams to deliver secure and reliable applications while contributing to frontend architecture, development standards, and continuous improvement.

About The Department

The Online Reliability Services Software Development team builds customer‑facing digital products that improve equipment reliability and performance for cement producers worldwide. As Fuller Technologies expands its in‑house software development capabilities, this growing team offers a unique opportunity to influence technology, engineering culture, and future product innovation.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications using modern frontend technologies.
• Build intuitive, responsive, and visually polished user interfaces that support industrial analytics and operational workflows.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and cloud‑based services.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and usability.
• Participate in frontend architecture discussions and component library development.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Perform peer code reviews and contribute to coding standards and development best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Management, UX designers, backend developers, DevOps, cybersecurity, and quality assurance teams throughout the SDLC.
• Apply secure software development practices, including IEC 62443 cybersecurity requirements where applicable.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical design discussions.
• Document application architecture, technical solutions, and implementation decisions.
• Support deployment activities and production issue resolution.

You bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of professional frontend software development experience building and supporting modern web or mobile applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with hands‑on experience using modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar.
• Experience developing responsive, user‑friendly web applications and mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, or comparable technologies.
• Strong experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Good understanding of frontend architecture, reusable component design, state management, application performance, and maintainable coding practices.
• Knowledge of responsive design, cross‑browser compatibility, accessibility, and modern UI/UX development principles.
• Familiarity with automated testing, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud‑based application deployment.
• Understanding of secure frontend development practices, including authentication, authorization, and secure handling of application data.
• Experience working within Agile development teams and across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve application and integration issues.
• Ability to translate product and user requirements into intuitive, scalable, and reliable digital experiences.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Product Management, UX/UI, backend developers, and other technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, cross‑functional environment with a strong focus on quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
