Job summary

TalentSprint is seeking experienced Design Engineering professionals to join as Freelance Faculty for an on-campus program in Noida. The role focuses on delivering engineering design training to B.Tech 1st Year students, with hands-on workshops and industry-aligned projects using CAD/CAE tools.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, and knowledge of product design, manufacturing processes, and DFM. Commitment is 4-5 hours daily, 2 days per week, in-person.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in CAD/CAE tools and engineering design principles.
• Hands-on experience with SolidWorks, CATIA, and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Product Design and Development and Manufacturing Processes.
• Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and engineering drawing fundamentals.
• Experience crafting curriculum, assessments, and learning materials.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom training sessions on Design Engineering concepts and applications.
• Teach CAD/CAE tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, and AutoCAD.
• Introduce students to engineering design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct hands-on workshops, design projects, and practical exercises.
• Develop assignments, assessments, case studies, and learning materials aligned with industry standards.
• Mentor students on design projects and innovation challenges.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with academic teams to enhance curriculum delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom training sessions on Design Engineering concepts and applications.
• Teach industry-relevant tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, and other CAD/CAE software.
• Introduce students to engineering design principles, manufacturing processes, and product development methodologies.
• Conduct hands-on workshops, design projects, and practical exercises.
• Develop assignments, assessments, case studies, and learning materials aligned with industry standards.
• Mentor students on engineering design projects and innovation challenges.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with academic teams to continuously enhance curriculum delivery.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in CAD and CAE tools
• Hands-on experience with SolidWorks, CATIA, and/or AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Product Design and Development
• Understanding of Manufacturing Processes and Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
• Experience with Engineering Drawing, Mechanical Design, and Design Validation

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at a reputed university, college, or executive education institution
• Relevant hands-on experience in Design Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing, or related domains
• Strong verbal communication, learner engagement, presentation ability.
• Experience designing curriculum, assessments, case studies, or material.
