Job summary

Sunstone Education in Bengaluru invites applications for a CAD Technical Faculty to deliver practical, industry-oriented training in computer-aided design. You will mentor students through hands-on projects and design-based learning, ensuring alignment with current CAD workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one advanced CAD software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and design principles.
• Ability to deliver practical, project-based learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom lectures and practical lab sessions on CAD software.
• Teach subjects including: Engineering Graphics, AutoCAD (2D & 3D), SolidWorks, CATIA / Creo (Basics), Revit / BIM (Basic), Mechanical Drafting, Civil Drafting, 3D Modelling & Assembly, Product Design Fundamentals, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, lab exercises, and assessments.
• Guide students on design projects, case studies, and industry applications.
• Evaluate student performance through practical assessments and projects.
• Mentor students for internships, certifications, and placements.
• Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and industry practices.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled CAD Technical Faculty to deliver practical and industry-oriented training in Computer-Aided Design (CAD). The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in CAD software and the ability to mentor students through hands‑on projects and design-based learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom lectures and practical lab sessions on CAD software.
• Teach subjects including:
• Engineering Graphics
• AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
• SolidWorks
• CATIA / Creo (Basics)
• Revit / BIM (Basic)
• Mechanical Drafting
• Civil Drafting
• 3D Modelling & Assembly
• Product Design Fundamentals
• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

Preferred Skills
