Reach Much Higher Foundation (RMH) is building a panel of freelance career counsellors to work with students in partner schools and colleges in and around Bengaluru. Counselors will conduct individual and group sessions, administer assessments, and help students map their next steps, both in person and online.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree, 0–5 years in counselling, and strong English/Kannada; Hindi is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field; Psychology or Social Work preferred
• 0–5 years counselling experience; freshers with relevant degree welcome
• Good knowledge of English and Kannada; Hindi preferred
• CBSE counselling certificate will be an advantage
• Comfortable working with teenagers and young adults
• Based in Bengaluru and available during school hours

Role & responsibilities

Reach Much Higher Foundation (RMH) runs career guidance programmes for school and college students in and around Bengaluru. We are building a panel of freelance career counsellors to work with students in our partner schools and colleges, in person and online.

• Conduct one-to-one and group career counselling sessions for school and college students, in person and online
• Administer and interpret career assessments (interests, strengths, aptitude and personality), and explain the results to students and, where needed, parents
• Help students explore courses, careers and pathways, and plan their next steps
• Deliver career awareness workshops in schools and colleges
• Work through RMH's proprietary career counselling framework, assessment tools and Career Pathway Report
• Travel to partner schools and colleges in and around Bengaluru for in-person sessions

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field; Psychology or Social Work preferred
• 0-5 years of experience in counselling (career, student or school counselling); freshers with a relevant degree are welcome
• Good knowledge of English and Kannada; Hindi preferred
• A counselling certificate as required by CBSE will be an advantage
• Comfortable working with teenagers and young adults
