Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Chennai invites a Design Engineer - MEP (FPS) to assist in fire protection system layouts and ensure NFPA, NBC compliance. The role requires BE Mechanical and 7-12 years FPS design experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office, and coordination with FPS Lead, BIM and QA/QC on-site.

You will develop sprinkler and hydrant layouts, support hydraulic calculations, material estimation and BOQ preparation, review vendor drawings, and maintain design documentation

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 7-12 years of FPS design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office for design and coordination.
• Familiar with FPS software and on-site coordination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop basic layouts for sprinkler and hydrant systems.
