Job summary

PeopleStrong seeks a senior FPS design professional to assist in developing fire protection system layouts and ensure compliance with NFPA, NBC, and safety codes. You will support hydraulic calculations, material estimation, and BOQ preparation for FPS projects.

The role requires 7–12 years of hands-on FPS design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office, and on-site coordination in Chennai. Strong documentation and vendor coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical) with 7–12 years FPS design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
• Experience with NFPA, NBC and safety codes compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop basic layouts for sprinkler and hydrant systems.
• Support hydraulic calculations, material estimation, and BOQ preparation.
• Assist in reviewing vendor drawings and system coordination.
• Maintain design documentation and revision control.
