Job Summary
Looking for a skilled Emulation & FPGA Prototyping Engineer to support graphics model development through build, validation, and debug activities.
The candidate will play a key role in enabling efficient emulation environments, troubleshooting failures, and improving overall execution efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform emulation builds, sanity checks, and validation of graphics models
- Debug test failures, tool issues, and environment-related problems
- Analyze waveform data using tools like Verdi to identify root causes
- Improve execution efficiency, turnaround time, and overall productivity of emulation workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and execution alignment
- Provide regular status updates, detailed reports, and documentation
- Participate in daily sync meetings and cross-timezone handoffs
- Ensure continuity of work by planning tasks and providing coverage during absences
Required Skills & Expertise
- Hands-on experience in Emulation platforms (preferably Synopsys ZeBu)
- Experience in FPGA prototyping (HAPS or similar platforms)
- Strong debugging skills in Verilog/SystemVerilog environments
- Experience with waveform debugging tools (Verdi)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and Linux shell scripting
- Good understanding of hardware verification and debug methodologies
