Role Description

The Foundry Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Khalapur, responsible for overseeing all aspects of foundry operations. This role includes planning and supervising casting activities, managing production schedules, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards. The manager will coordinate process integration across melting, molding, pouring, and finishing, while optimizing resource use and minimizing defects. Day-to-day tasks involve leading and training foundry teams, monitoring equipment performance, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with engineering and maintenance to resolve technical issues. The Foundry Manager will also support customer requirements, participate in cost control, and maintain compliance with relevant industry and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Foundry Management, including team supervision, production planning, and operational oversight.
• Candidates should possess practical expertise in Casting and Metal Casting processes, with hands-on experience in non-ferrous alloy casting.
• Candidates should possess skills in Metallurgy, with a solid understanding of alloy properties, melting practices, and quality control methods.
• Candidates should possess abilities in Process Integration, coordinating workflows across melting, molding, finishing, and dispatch.
• Relevant engineering or metallurgical degree or diploma, preferably in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or Production Engineering.
• Experience in marine components or non-ferrous foundry operations is highly beneficial.
