Job description

The Founder's Office – Strategy & Operations plays a critical role in enabling senior leadership to operate effectively across multiple initiatives, organizations, and time zones. This is a high-trust, high-responsibility role designed for someone who combines strong organizational capability with excellent presence of mind, discretion, and proactive thinking.

The role requires close partnership with leadership to manage complex schedules, coordinate priorities, and ensure continuity across meetings, decisions, and follow-through actions. You will serve as a key operational anchor, helping leadership maintain clarity, momentum, and focus in a fast-moving environment.

This is not a purely administrative role. It requires sound judgment, strong communication ability, intellectual curiosity, and the capacity to anticipate needs, often going beyond routine expectations to support strategic execution with maturity and discretion.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership Office Support & Confidentiality
  • Handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Exercise sound judgment and prudence in handling sensitive or evolving situations.
  • Provide proactive support that allows leadership to focus on strategic priorities.
Communication & Research Support
  • Prepare agendas, briefing notes, and relevant background information ahead of meetings through structured research and synthesis.
  • Conduct research and gather insights that support leadership decision‑making and strategic preparation.
  • Draft clear, professional communications, summaries, and follow‑up correspondence when required.
Executive Scheduling & Coordination
  • Manage complex calendars and schedules across multiple time zones, ensuring effective prioritization and sequencing of commitments.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, travel plans, and leadership engagements.
  • Maintain oversight of leadership priorities and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts.
Meeting Support & Operational Follow‑Through
  • Attend meetings alongside leadership when required to capture key discussions, decisions, and action points.
  • Track follow‑ups and ensure timely execution across stakeholders and initiatives.
  • Serve as a coordination point between leadership and internal teams or external partners.
  • Maintain continuity across projects and conversations to ensure momentum.

This role sits within the Founder's Office and requires a high degree of trust, discretion, and ownership. The successful candidate will act as a dependable extension of leadership, anticipating needs, maintaining situational awareness, and ensuring execution follows intent.

The role requires flexibility to align with leadership schedules across geographies and time zones, and comfort working in dynamic environments where priorities may shift quickly. The ability to think ahead, exercise prudence, and make smart judgment calls beyond standard instructions is essential.

What We Are Looking For
  • Exceptional organizational and coordination skills with strong attention to detail.
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in Strategy, Founder's Office or similar fast-paced roles in startups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, professional communication confidently.
  • Strong research ability and skill in synthesizing information into actionable insights or briefing notes.
  • High level of prudence, situational awareness, and independent judgment.
  • Professional presence and confidence in executive settings.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-moving, high-pressure situations.
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and reliability.
  • Flexibility in working style and availability to support evolving leadership priorities.
  • Comfort using digital collaboration, scheduling, and productivity tools.
Who Will Thrive Here

You will thrive in this role if you are highly organized, proactive, and naturally inclined to take ownership without constant direction. You think ahead, communicate clearly, and are comfortable solving problems independently when situations evolve quickly. You value discretion, professionalism, and take pride in enabling others to operate at their best.

  • Direct exposure to senior leadership decision-making and strategic operations.
  • Opportunity to develop strong capabilities in executive management, coordination, research, and strategic communication.
  • High visibility role with meaningful impact across multiple initiatives.
