The Founder's Office Associate works at the intersection of strategy, execution, and ecosystem building—supporting the conception, development, and execution of some of Inc42's most strategic initiatives.
This role partners closely with the Founder's Office across founder communities, government engagement, strategic partnerships, ecosystem programs, and new business initiatives. From developing research-led insights and building compelling proposals to executing high-impact founder programs and documenting scalable systems, you will help transform ideas into meaningful outcomes.
You're not simply executing projects; you're helping build the next generation of founder communities, strategic partnerships, and institutional initiatives that shape India's startup ecosystem.

Your Impact in This Role
- Build Strategic Initiatives: You'll work alongside the Founder's Office to conceptualise, build, and execute strategic initiatives that strengthen Inc42's leadership within India's startup ecosystem.
- Strengthen The Ecosystem: You'll help cultivate meaningful relationships with founders, investors, policymakers, corporations, and ecosystem leaders—creating long-term value beyond individual engagements.
- Shape Strategic Narratives: You'll develop founder communications, proposals, concept notes, presentations, and ecosystem messaging that clearly articulate Inc42's vision and initiatives.
- Build Systems For Scale: You'll document processes, create playbooks, and establish operational frameworks that enable the Founder's Office to execute faster and more consistently over time.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Founder Programs & Strategic Initiatives
- Support the development and execution of Inc42's flagship founder communities, strategic initiatives, and proprietary IPs. Work closely with the Founder's Office to transform ideas into structured programs while ensuring seamless execution across multiple stakeholders.
- Support the planning and execution of flagship founder communities, events, retreats, salons, and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of new programs, engagement formats, and ecosystem initiatives aligned with Inc42's long-term vision.
- Coordinate execution across editorial, marketing, design, partnerships, operations, and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop research-led insights that support strategic decision-making across founder engagement, partnerships, government relations, and ecosystem expansion. Build comprehensive research documents that strengthen every conversation and initiative undertaken by the Founder's Office.
- Conduct research across founders, startups, industries, government, policy, technology, and emerging sectors.
- Prepare founder profiles, company briefs, ecosystem reports, and stakeholder research for strategic engagements.
- Continuously monitor ecosystem developments to identify opportunities for new initiatives, collaborations, and partnerships.
3. Strategic Communication & Documentation
- Translate ideas into compelling communication across proposals, presentations, founder outreach, and strategic documentation. Ensure every document reflects the quality, clarity, and professionalism associated with the Inc42 brand.
- Develop proposals, concept notes, event briefs, founder presentations, and ecosystem communication documents.
- Draft outreach emails, founder communication, partnership notes, government correspondence, and executive messaging.
- Support content creation across LinkedIn, founder updates, presentations, and strategic initiatives.
4. Systems & Knowledge Management
- Create systems that improve execution quality, organisational memory, and operational consistency across the Founder's Office. Document learnings, build playbooks, and establish repeatable processes that strengthen long-term execution.
- Develop SOPs, execution playbooks, workflow documentation, and internal knowledge repositories.
- Document best practices and operational learnings across recurring initiatives.
- Maintain structured documentation systems to improve visibility, collaboration, and scalability.
5. Founder Office Initiatives
- Support high-priority initiatives that span multiple teams, business functions, and organisational priorities. Operate as a trusted generalist capable of driving strategic projects from ideation through execution.
- Execute cross-functional projects across strategy, partnerships, operations, research, and business development.
- Support new initiatives and founder priorities requiring rapid execution and structured problem-solving.
- Take ownership of ad-hoc strategic projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and execution quality.
- 3–5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, founder's office, business operations, program management, partnerships, or a similar cross-functional role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.
- Excellent written communication skills with experience creating proposals, presentations, concept notes, research documents, and executive correspondence.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities with the ability to synthesize information into actionable insights and structured recommendations.
- Comfortable working with founders, CXOs, investors, policymakers, government officials, and senior ecosystem stakeholders.
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous ideas into structured execution plans while managing multiple cross-functional dependencies.
- Highly organized with a strong bias towards ownership, systems thinking, documentation, and continuous process improvement.
- Self-driven, intellectually curious, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments where priorities evolve rapidly.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canva, Notion, Asana, and modern productivity tools.
