Rupeeflo in Bengaluru is seeking an early-career professional to join our business and partnerships team. You will rotate across functions, support outreach to banks, brokers, and financial institutions, and help translate ideas into concrete partnership steps.
This role demands a commercial mindset, strong communication, and the ability to own tasks end-to-end. You’ll collaborate with legal, compliance, finance, and product teams to move partnerships from idea to execution.
Rupeeflo is an NRI-focused financial services company solving a problem that sits at the intersection of two massive, underserved opportunities: a global NRI/OCI diaspora sitting on record wealth, and an Indian financial system that still makes it painfully hard for them to invest back home. We’ve built the infrastructure that banks and brokerages plug into for global investor onboarding across 50+ countries, dramatically cutting onboarding timelines from over a month to just hours. Backed by Rainmatter (Zerodha) and Piper Serica, we’re live with leading institutional partners and already reach markets covering ~60% of the world’s NRI population.
This is a role for someone early in their career who is commercially sharp, moves fast, and wants to learn the business of financial services from the inside out.
You'll work directly with the business and partnerships team, supporting and driving new strategic partnerships, exploring new business opportunities, and executing across whatever the business needs most. The role is deliberately broad: you will rotate across different business functions, work cross-functionally with legal, compliance, finance, and product teams, and over time grow into a role with a defined mandate and higher ownership on the business side.
If you want a structured job with a clear playbook, this is not it. If you want to understand how a financial services company actually builds and closes institutional partnerships from close quarters, it is.
Support and drive outreach, research, and early-stage conversations for new strategic business partnerships across banks, brokers, AMCs, PMS providers, and other financial institutions.
Work with the business and partnerships team on partner pipeline management, follow-ups, meeting preparation, and documentation.
Dig into new business opportunities: map the landscape, identify the right entry points, and help the team move quickly from idea to conversation to execution.
Coordinate cross-functionally with legal, compliance, finance, and product teams to support partnership structuring, due diligence, and onboarding.
Take on high-priority business tasks as they arise, including research, competitive analysis, internal reporting, and process improvement.
Experiment fast: test approaches, learn what works, and iterate without needing to be told twice.
Engineering graduate from a tier-1 institution (IIT, BITS, or equivalent) with a strong drive to build a career on the business side.
Prior experience in a founder's office, consulting, business development, or sales role.
Strong commercial instinct: you understand how businesses make decisions and what moves deals forward.
High ownership and low dependence on structure. You figure things out.
Comfort operating across functions: you can hold a conversation with a legal or compliance team as well as a business head.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Genuine interest in financial services and how institutional India works.
Prior exposure to B2B partnerships, financial institutions, or regulated industries.
Basic familiarity with Excel for business analysis.
Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
Work directly with the founding team on real business problems from day one.
Rare early-career access to how institutional financial services partnerships are built, structured, and closed.
A role that grows with you. As Rupeeflo scales, so does your mandate.
