e-TRNL Energy is seeking a proactive and versatile Founder's Office contributor to work directly with the Co-Founder & CEO. The role spans technology, business, operations, partnerships and branding, tackling high-impact problems that shift month to month.
You will distill complex questions into actionable plans, write decks and memos for investors and partners, and drive initiatives from plan to completion while staying hands-on and adaptable.
Location Bengaluru Type Full-time Reports to Co-Founder & CEO
e-TRNL Energy is building battery cells around a question the industry has largely stopped asking: does cost really have to be traded off against safety and charging speed? We think the answer sits in the architecture of the cell rather than in its chemistry. So we are building a chemistry-agnostic cell architecture, along with the process and the machines that make it. Manufacturing is part of the design here, not something we work out afterwards.
The company was founded by Apoorv Shaligram and Dr Uttam Sen, who have spent their careers in batteries and EVs.
Most weeks there is one problem that matters more than the others and doesn't sit with any one team. The Founder's Office picks it up.
You will work directly with Apoorv on whatever that problem happens to be a market question, a partnership, a board deck, an event, a hiring push, or a process that has quietly stopped working. But to be clear, this wouldn't venture into the financial or fund raising parts of the job. The subject changes month to month, The pattern doesn't: understand the problem properly, find the facts, write down what you think we should do, then stay with it until it is done.
It suits someone who doesn't mind a job description that keeps moving, and who would rather finish something than hand it on.
You will see the whole company the lab, the line, the customers, the investors and you will be in the room for decisions that most people at your stage only read about later.
Worth saying what it isn't: this is not a pure strategy job. A good part of it is following up, chasing, and doing the unglamorous work that turns a decision into something that actually happened. If that reads as a reason not to apply, it probably is. If it doesn't, we would like to hear from you.
