Job summary

Crest Data Systems in India is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to lead customer deployments and drive integration of our software in client environments. You will translate customer use cases into technical solutions and collaborate with engineering to deliver deployments, POCs, and adoption strategies.

Required are 3–8 years of software/solutions engineering experience, proficiency with APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and DevOps tools like Docker, CI/CD, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in software engineering or solutions engineering.
• Experience with APIs, system integration and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Knowledge of databases SQL/NoSQL and DevOps tools like Docker, CI/CD and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work in customer-facing, fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements.

Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE): The FDE is a critical, multi-faceted role that bridges the gap between the Company's core engineering teams and its key end-customers. FDEs are technical experts who play an instrumental part in the successful deployment, integration, and adoption of the ISV's sophisticated products within an end-customer's specific use cases.
