Job summary

Ysquare Technology in Chennai is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work closely with customers, understand complex business and technical challenges, design solutions, and build production-ready applications, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.

You will own delivery from discovery to deployment, lead technical discussions, and translate customer needs into scalable architectures using Python/JavaScript, REST APIs, cloud services, and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Software Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, Implementation Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth/authentication, databases, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with Git, Docker, Postman, and CI/CD.
• Exposure to AI/LLM applications, prompt engineering, or AI agents is highly preferred.

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to work closely with customers, understand complex business and technical challenges, design solutions, and build production-ready applications, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.

This role combines hands-on engineering, customer interaction, solution design, and end-to-end ownership.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with customers to understand business workflows, technical requirements, and pain points.
• Translate customer needs into technical solutions, system designs, integrations, and automation.
• Build, test, deploy, and maintain production-ready solutions using APIs, databases, cloud services, and third-party systems.
• Develop AI/LLM-powered workflows, agents, and automation for relevant business use cases.
• Own delivery from discovery → solution design → development → deployment → optimization.
• Lead technical discussions, demos, POCs, solution validations, and customer implementations.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver timely solutions.
• Identify recurring customer challenges and turn them into product improvements and scalable solutions.
• Create reusable integrations, frameworks, documentation, and implementation playbooks.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in Software Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, Implementation Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth/authentication, databases, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with Git, Docker, Postman, and CI/CD.
• Exposure to AI/LLM applications, prompt engineering, or AI agents is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to convert ambiguous business problems into practical, scalable technical solutions.
