BizQuad is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to solve high‑impact real‑world problems for enterprise clients. The role blends backend/full‑stack development, applied AI, and client ownership, with frequent travel across India to client sites.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem solving, communication, and the ability to own end‑to‑end deployments, from concept to production outcome.

Qualifications

• 3–15 years of professional engineering experience in technical problem‑solving roles.
• Experience leading or contributing to solution scoping, discovery workshops, or early‑stage AI/technical strategy alongside sales, product, or delivery teams.
• Candidates from strong engineering institutions; Tier‑1 colleges preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with enterprise clients to understand operational challenges, requirements, technical constraints, and success criteria.
• Translate ambiguous, open‑ended problems into clear technical designs, prototypes, and production‑ready implementations.
• Build AI agents and software products that integrate with customer systems and perform real tasks.
• Develop backend services, APIs, integrations, and data flows required to power production applications and AI agents.
• Use full‑stack development skills when required to take solutions from concept to working product.
• Own deployments end‑to‑end — reliability, performance, debugging, and continuous improvement.
• Test with real data, measure outcomes, and iterate based on results.
• Present solutions, communicate trade‑offs, and negotiate scope with technical and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product & Engineering to ship high‑quality solutions.
• Operate effectively in small, high‑ownership teams and adapt quickly as requirements evolve.
• Contribute to tools, documentation, and best practices that scale customer delivery.
• Travel frequently across India to work from client sites.

Its forward-deployed operating model combines engineering, problem-solving, and close client collaboration. The India team is being built as part of the company's APAC expansion.As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will solve high-impact, real-world problems alongside enterprise customers, owning work from first principles through production outcomes. This is a hands‑on, high‑ownership generalist role for engineers who move comfortably between software development, applied AI, ambiguity, and client‑facing execution. The strongest candidates will combine strong backend/full‑stack ability with client ownership, structured problem solving, communication, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Meaningful experience in high‑growth, fast‑moving startups or similarly high‑ownership environments preferred.
• Demonstrated ownership of client relationships, technical delivery, implementation, or stakeholder‑facing engineering work.
• High‑agency mindset - comfortable creating clarity, proposing direction, and driving decisions without waiting for perfect requirements.
• Comfort working directly with enterprise customers and travelling frequently across India.
