Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Chennai seeks an experienced formwork specialist for high-rise residential projects. You will oversee formwork systems, ensure safety, quality, and cost controls, and coordinate with site teams.

Responsibilities include planning resources from start to finish, tracking milestones, conducting inspections, and leveraging Mivan and conventional formwork methods to meet deadlines on major construction works such as elevated metro interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience with formwork for large scale construction projects, especially high-rise residential.
• Knowledge of formwork systems including Mivan and conventional methods.
• Familiarity with formwork for elevated metro station construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage formwork systems, inspections, profitability, cost, quality and safety.
• Plan resources from start to finish within budget constraints and set milestones to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Mivan and conventional formwork used by L&T and industry practices.

Job description

• Candidate shall have experience in handling formwork related responsibilities for similar large scale construction projects (High rise Residential).
• Candidate must have formwork experience and should understand the risks and challenges associated with High Rise Residential projects.
• Candidate shall have good knowledge about Formwork Systems & Mivan System.
• Candidate shall have good knowledge about Formwork systems involved in Elevated Metro Station construction
• Candidate will be responsible for formwork systems, inspections, profitability, cost, quality and safety.
• The Candidate shall determine the resources required from beginning to end while keeping in mind budgetary constraints and will plan all construction operations and arrange adequate milestones to keep track so as to achieve all deadlines.
• Candidate should have good overall knowledge of Mivan & Conventional Form work systems of L&T and common market practices.
