Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Formwork Engineer to supervise daily formwork activities for high-rise residential projects in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The candidate should have 3–8 years of experience and be proficient in Mivan/Aluform systems, erection, alignment, inspection and dismantling.

The role requires ensuring formwork execution per drawings, methodologies, safety standards and quality controls, along with monitoring productivity, cycle times and material reuse across floors.

Qualifications

• Experience with formwork systems including supervision and execution.
• Knowledge of Mivan/Aluform systems is essential.
• Ability to coordinate with construction, reinforcement and MEP teams.

Job Role – Formwork Engineer

Ensure formwork execution is carried out as per approved drawings, methodology, quality standards and safety requirements.

Monitor cycle time, productivity, manpower deployment and efficient utilization of formwork materials.

Coordinate with construction, reinforcement and MEP teams to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of floor cycles.

Identify and resolve site-level formwork issues, dimensional deviations and interface-related constraints.

Assist in planning, material requirements, quantity tracking, inspections and daily progress reporting.

Ensure proper maintenance, shifting and stacking of formwork materials for efficient reuse across floors/towers.
