Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Chennai is seeking a skilled Formwork Supervisor to oversee day-to-day formwork activities on high-rise residential projects. The role requires hands-on supervision of erection, alignment, inspection and dismantling of Mivan/Aluform systems.

You will ensure execution per approved drawings, methodology and safety standards, monitor cycle time and productivity, coordinate with construction, reinforcement and MEP teams, and report daily progress.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising formwork for high-rise construction.
• Proficient in Mivan/Aluform systems including erection and dismantling.

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day formwork activities for high-rise residential projects.
• Experience in Mivan/Aluform systems is essential, including erection, alignment, inspection and dismantling.
• Ensure formwork execution is carried out as per approved drawings, methodology, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Monitor cycle time, productivity, manpower deployment and efficient utilization of formwork materials.
• Coordinate with construction, reinforcement and MEP teams to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of floor cycles.
• Identify and resolve site-level formwork issues, dimensional deviations and interface-related constraints.
• Assist in planning, material requirements, quantity tracking, inspections and daily progress reporting.
• Ensure proper maintenance, shifting and stacking of formwork materials for efficient reuse across floors/towers.
