Qualifications

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience in formulation development.
• Strong expertise in tablet formulation and coating, capsule formulation, and gummy development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize formulations for tablets, coated tablets, capsules, and gummies.
• Conduct pre-formulation and compatibility studies for active ingredients and excipients.
• Handle formulation trials, process optimization, and technology transfer activities.
• Develop stable, scalable, and commercially viable formulations with knowledge of country-specific guidelines.
• Collaborate with analytical, production, QA, and regulatory teams.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Formulation Development Expert with strong expertise in developing personal care, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical formulations, specifically in:

• Tablets (including coating technologies)
• Capsules – solid and soft gel
• Effervescent tablets & granules
• Powder blends, granules, ready to drink formulations

Experience in cosmetic formulations and Micro encapsulation, nano formulation will be considered an added advantage.
The candidate will play a key role in product innovation, formulation optimization, pilot to production, stability and coordination with cross-functional teams to support product development and commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize formulations for tablets, coated tablets, capsules, and gummies etc as listed above
• Conduct pre-formulation and compatibility studies for active ingredients and excipients.
• Handle formulation trials, process optimization, and technology transfer activities.
• Develop stable, scalable, and commercially viable formulations with a knowledge of country specific guidelines and requirements
• Work closely with analytical, production, QA, and regulatory teams.
• Prepare technical documentation, batch records, SOPs, and development reports.
• Support troubleshooting during pilot and commercial batches.
• Coordinate with vendors for raw material evaluation and innovative ingredient sourcing.
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Participate in new product innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nutraceuticals, or related field.
• 6–8 years of hands-on experience in formulation development.
• Strong expertise in:

  . Gummy development
• Good understanding of excipients, processing equipment, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in scale-up and commercial batch execution.
• Strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment.
