Job summary

Mizuho Global Services Pvt Ltd in Chennai seeks a skilled remittance operations professional to process foreign outward/inward transactions, create SWIFT messages and manage cash pooling activities. You will support FX transactions, fee collection, and daily reconciliations.

The role requires 2–3 years in banking operations, familiarity with SWIFT and ISO20022, and strong English communication. Chennai-based, 5 days on-site with regional shifts.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial and remittance systems like SWIFT.
• Knowledge of FX markets/rates and ISO20022 pacs.008/pacs.009.
• Basic knowledge of foreign exchange regs and compliance.
• Strong Word/Excel skills (VLOOKUP).
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written/spoken English and email communication.
• Willing to work regional shifts to support remittance ops.

Responsibilities

• Process foreign outward/inward remittance transactions.
• Prepare transaction details and documentation for remittances and deposits.
• Create SWIFT messages pacs.008, pacs.009, MT199, MT299.
• Understand Money Market lending and FX deal checks.
• Handle cash pooling transactions.
• Collect fees and charges.
• Daily reconciliation and standing-order/account-status reporting.
• Coordinate with checker/approver for smooth ops.

Position: - Foreign Outward Remittance - Cash Pooling – Maker - GRO

Job Location: - Chennai 5 Days Work from office

Shift :- Morning shifts from 6.30am 9hrs

Notice period: - immediate to 30days

Job responsibility: -

• 1. Processing and making of foreign outward/inward remittance transactions.
• 2. Basic making of transaction details and documentation required for remittances and deposits.
• 3. Creation of swift message pacs.008,pacs.009,MT199,MT299
• 4. Basic knowledge of Money Market - Lending and Taking of Funds, checking FX deal.
• 5. Handling of cash pooling transactions.
• 6. Collection of Fees and charges.
• 7. Daily reconciliation and reporting of standing orders and account status.
• 8. Coordinating with other team members (checker, approver) for smooth operations.

Mandate skills :-

• Proficiency in financial and remittance system like swift.
• Knowledge of FX markets/rates, Swift messages ISO20022 payment pacs.008, pacs.009.
• Basic knowledge of foreign exchange regulations and compliance.
• Well versed with Word and Excel (VLOOKUP/lookup)
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Good command over both spoken and written English and communication over mail.
• Candidate should be adaptable to working regional shifts to support remittance operations other responsibilities

Qualification:-

Bachelor's degree in commerce, Bachelors/Master of Accounting and Finance.

Experience:

2–3 years of experience in banking operations, preferably in foreign exchange or cross border outward remittance, and handling Hongkong operations.

Preferred candidate from Chennai under 20 kilometers only
