Job summary

Mizuho Global Services Pvt Ltd (MGS) is a subsidiary of Mizuho Bank, undertaking global processing for banking operations. The role focuses on accurate processing of trade finance transactions while ensuring compliance with internal policies and international rules.

The candidate will handle LC issuance, amendments, bill booking, documentary collections, guarantees, and related settlement activities, collaborating with overseas branches to ensure timely execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in commerce and finance is required.
Professional qualifications: CITF or JAIIB.
Analytical with exposure to trade finance operations.

Responsibilities

Process Trade Finance transactions including: Import Letters of Credit issuance/amendment, Bill Booking, Acceptance and Settlement.
Export Letters of Credit advising, confirmations, transfers, bill booking, acceptance and settlement.
Documentary Collections - Bill Booking, Acceptance, Settlement.
Bank Guarantee / Standby LCs issuance, amendments, reversal, closure, invocations.
Trade Loans - invoice discounting, supplier finance, rollover, settlement.

Trade Finance Operations (Maker)

Experience

Analyst : 2-3 years in Trade Finance operations

Senior Analyst : 5-6 years in Trade Finance operations

Role Purpose

To accurately process trade finance transactions by reviewing customer requests, inputting transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and international trade rules, while maintaining defined service levels.
