Job summary

Mangalam Brands is seeking a Forecast Analyst in Mumbai to forecast demand by analyzing historical sales, market trends, and promotions, transforming them into precise forecasts that guide inventory and supply decisions.

You will partner with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams, track forecast accuracy, and generate regular reports while implementing forecasting tools to improve efficiency and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Forecast Preparation: Collect and analyse historical sales, market trends, and promotional inputs to generate demand forecasts.
• Data Analysis: Use statistical models and tools to identify demand patterns and improve forecast accuracy.
• Inventory Support: Provide inputs to inventory planning teams to balance stock levels with demand.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to incorporate business insights into forecasts.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on forecast accuracy, demand trends, and variances.
• System Utilization: Implement forecasting tools (SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, JDA, Excel) and ensure data integrity.
• Continuous Improvement: Recommend process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
