Job summary

Avishkar Agro Technology LLP is seeking a Food Technologist to work on-site at the Wai facility in Satara in a full-time capacity. The role covers development, optimization and quality assurance for nuts, seeds and raisins processing.

You will conduct laboratory and plant trials, perform sensory evaluations, monitor process parameters and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards while collaborating with production and quality teams to improve product consistency and reduce

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Food Technology and applied food science.
• Solid Laboratory Skills for sample preparation, analytical testing, data recording, and use of standard lab equipment.
• Experience with Quality Control practices, including FSSC 22000 or similar food safety standards, HACCP, and GMP.
• Proficiency in Sensory Evaluation, including taste, texture, and appearance assessment for product development and quality checks.
• Exposure to Research and Development (R&D) activities, such as product and process improvement, trial design, and data analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Technology, Food Science, Agri or a related discipline.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and basic data analysis skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively, and operate in an on-site manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in dry fruits, nuts, or similar food processing industries is an advantage, but not mandatory.

Role Description

The Food Technologist will work ON-SITE at the WAI (Dist Satara( facility in a full-time capacity, supporting the development, optimization, and quality assurance in nuts, seeds and raisins processing.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting laboratory and plant trials, performing sensory evaluations, monitoring process parameters, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. The role involves collaborating with production and quality teams to resolve technical issues, improve product consistency, and reduce process variations.

The Food Technologist will document test results, prepare reports, support audits, and contribute to research and development initiatives for new products and process improvements. This role requires hands-on engagement on the production floor and in the lab to maintain high operational and product performance.
