Staffing Services is seeking a Proposal Engineer with field instruments expertise to join our team in Pune, India. You will independently create high-quality, technically accurate quotations and deliver them on time, acting as the primary technical advisor for customers and ensuring top-notch service.

You will support the Sales Organization with follow-up on quotes, engage in regions without sales presence, and contribute to internal strategy discussions to convert plans into concrete offerings.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office and Adobe PDF tools.
• Understanding of Flow product principles (Coriolis, USM, Flexim, Vortex, Magmeter).

Responsibilities

• Perform technical review of customers project bid package.
• Participate in internal project strategy discussions & convert the plan into offerings.
• Accurately perform sizing and enter quote proposal in business systems, sending sizing and documents to customers as required.
• Generate engineering specifications based on customers flow metering requirements.
• Translate customer documentation requirements to quotable items.
• Liaise with EMR divisions/factories on special requirements (inspection scope, packing specs, testing/certification).
• Develop final formal proposal packages.
• Follow project bid submission procedure.
• Maintain high quality standards on proposal deliverables.
• Other responsibilities as required by your manager.

Direct involvement in sales activities- follow up of quotes sent to win orders and Support Customer Support Engineer in engaging in countries with no sales presence.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Perform technical review of customers project bid package


• Participate in internal project strategy discussions & convert the plan into specific Offerings.


• Accurately perform sizing and enter quote proposal in the business systems, send quote sizing and other related documents to the internal/external customers as required taking into consideration technical deviations, the customers lead-time and budgetary requirements.


• Generate engineering specifications based on Customers flow metering requirements


• Translate customer’s project documentation requirements to specific quotable items.


• Liaise with EMR divisions/factories on customer’s special requirements mainly inspection scope, packing specs. Special testing/certification requirement.


• Develop final formal proposal packages
