• 38 years of retail experience (minimum).
• 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in ethnic wear, bridal wear, luxury fashion or lifestyle retail preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily sales and operational activities on the assigned floor.
• Lead, supervise and motivate sales executives and support staff.
• Conduct daily staff briefings and allocate customers, sections and responsibilities.
• Set individual and team sales targets and closely monitor performance.
• Ensure every customer is attended to promptly and receives a premium shopping experience.
• Personally handle high-value customers, bridal clients and complex sales situations.
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Monitor customer follow-ups, pending orders, alterations, trials and deliveries.
• Coordinate with other floors, billing, inventory, tailoring, dispatch and management teams.
• Maintain knowledge of available products, prices, offers and customization options.
• Ensure proper product display, visual merchandising and floor cleanliness.
• Monitor stock movement and report missing, damaged or slow-moving merchandise.
• Maintain staff attendance, grooming, discipline and professional conduct.
• Share daily sales, customer and staff-performance reports with management.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and guide customers to relevant collections on other floors.
• Support peak-hour, weekend, festive-season and wedding-season operations.

Role Overview

The Floor Manager will be responsible for managing sales, staff performance, customer experience, product presentation and operational discipline on the assigned floor. The ideal candidate should be a strong team leader with excellent customer-handling skills and relevant experience in fashion, apparel, jewellery, luxury or lifestyle retail.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in ethnic wear, bridal wear, apparel, jewellery, luxury fashion or lifestyle retail is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage a sales team and achieve revenue targets.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer-handling and relationship-building skills.
• Professional appearance, confident personality and a service-oriented attitude.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-footfall retail environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Punjabi, Hindi and basic English.
• Willingness to work on weekends, holidays and during peak wedding and festive seasons.
• Basic knowledge of billing systems, inventory management and sales reporting is preferred.
