Jobitus is seeking a Fixture Design Engineer to join the MFT Design department at the Kothur Plant - Hyderabad. The role requires hands-on mechanical/production engineering experience with strong CAD skills and GD&T expertise.

You will conduct feasibility studies, develop fixture concepts, and drive detailed 3D/2D drawings and BOMs for SAP updates. Collaboration in design reviews and cost-quoting activities is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree with relevant experience in mechanical/production engineering.
• 8–10 years (Diploma) or 5–8 years (Degree) experience required.
• Proficient in 3D/2D design and detailing for fixtures.

Responsabilités

• Conduct feasibility studies for new enquiries.
• Create detailed 3D/2D designs and drawings for fixtures and parts.
• Produce detailed drawings and BOMs for SAP updates.
• Ensure designs meet GD&T and tolerance requirements.
• Collaborate in CFT design reviews and cost-quoting processes.
• Prepare for tool lengths, PFC, PFMEA, and ECN documentation.
• Support NPD documentation and fixture design for manufacturability.

Job Description:

Essential

• To conduct feasibility study for new enquiry
• Part to be convert in process - Concept fixturing
• Communicate progress on tasks to direct supervisor
• Create detailed 3D/2D designs & drawings for Fix & part
• Produce detail drawings & BOM to update in SAP
• Ensure our concepts meets design standards.
• Strong in Knowledge of GD&T & tolerance stacking.
• Focused on fit/function details while designing fixtures
• Participate in CFT design reviews and analysis
• Works with RFQ/costing to provide information that will aid in the initial quoting process
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Work to schedule time lines for efficient releases.
