Job summary

Toyo Kombucha Bahadurgarh is seeking a skilled Fitter to maintain and repair plant machinery, ensuring smooth production and minimal downtime.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years experience in mechanical maintenance, hands-on fitting, and the ability to read basic drawings and use precision tools. The role requires willingness to work shifts and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ItI in fitter trade or equivalent technical qualification.
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical fitting, assembly, dismantling and troubleshooting.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, vernier calipers, and micrometers.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and lubrication practices.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills are an added advantage.
• Willingness to work in shifts and attend urgent breakdowns when required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair beverage production equipment, including filling, capping, labelling, and packing machines.
• Attend machinery breakdowns, identify mechanical faults, and repair to restore production promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule and record work completed.
• Fit, align, and replace bearings, shafts, seals, belts, chains, gears, and other mechanical components.
• Maintain pumps, valves, pipelines, conveyors, and gearboxes; identify and rectify leaks, abnormal noise, and vibration.
• Support machinery installation, alignment, commissioning, and changeovers for different bottle or packaging sizes.
• Read basic mechanical drawings and use measuring instruments to check dimensions, alignment, and fit.
• Coordinate with production and electrical maintenance teams during repairs and maintenance activities.
• Maintain tools, track critical spare requirements, and report worn or damaged parts before failure.
• Follow plant hygiene, food safety, PPE, and equipment isolation procedures during maintenance.
