Job summary

ThreatXIntel is seeking an experienced Firmware Test Engineer with 5 to 7 years in firmware and embedded testing, focusing on physical access controllers and readers, and UART/RS485/SPI interfaces on Linux.

The ideal candidate will perform protocol validation, use sniffing tools, conduct manual and automation testing, and develop Python-based test automation while collaborating with firmware, software, and hardware teams.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in Firmware / Embedded Testing.
• Strong understanding of firmware testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with UART, RS485, and SPI.
• Experience with Linux OS testing.
• Knowledge of communication protocols and protocol validation.
• Experience with RS485 interface tools and sniffing / protocol analysis tools.
• Exposure to test automation and Python for automation.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of physical access controllers and readers.
• Set up and configure test environments with access controllers, readers, and related hardware.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Firmware Test Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience in firmware and embedded system testing. The candidate should have hands-on experience testing physical access controllers and readers, working with communication interfaces such as UART, RS485, and SPI, and performing testing on Linux-based systems.

The ideal candidate should have experience with communication protocol validation, communication sniffing tools, manual and automation testing, and preferably Python-based test automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of physical access controllers and readers.
