Job summary

Mobitechwireless is seeking a detail-oriented Firmware QA Engineer with 1 year of embedded firmware validation experience for IoT products. You will test functionality, report defects, and ensure quality before release.

You will develop test plans, execute regression tests, verify protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, BLE, Wi-Fi or LoRa, and collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to resolve issues. OTA updates and hardware-software integration are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Firmware/Embedded QA Testing.
• Basic understanding of Embedded C and firmware development concepts.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers such as STM32, PIC, AVR, ESP32, or ARM Cortex-M.
• Familiarity with embedded communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS485).
• Experience using debugging tools such as Serial Terminal, Logic Analyzer, or Oscilloscope.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and defect life cycle.
• Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities
