Job summary

Della Resorts and Adventure in Pune seeks a Fire & Safety professional to implement and monitor life safety, fire prevention, emergency response, and workplace safety standards across the resort.

You will conduct regular inspections of guest areas and back‑of‑house spaces, oversee equipment maintenance, lead drills, keep records, and coordinate with local authorities to ensure compliance and preparedness. A graduate or diploma in Fire & Safety is required, with 3–6 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma in Fire & Safety, Industrial Safety, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, kitchens, restaurants, back-of-house areas, electrical rooms, stores, staff accommodation, and other critical areas to identify fire and safety hazards.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of fire extinguishers, hydrants, fire pumps, fire alarms, sprinklers, emergency exits, smoke detectors, and other fire-fighting equipment.
• Conduct regular fire drills, emergency evacuation drills, toolbox talks, and safety training for hotel employees.
• Maintain and update all Fire & Safety records, inspection checklists, incident reports, drill reports, and statutory documents as required.
• Respond to and manage fire emergencies, accidents, medical emergencies, and other safety incidents in coordination with the Security, Engineering, HR, and Operations teams.
• Monitor compliance with fire safety, occupational safety, hotel SOPs, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with local Fire Brigade, government authorities, contractors, and external agencies for inspections, certifications, and emergency preparedness.
• Conduct regular safety awareness sessions for employees and ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
• Maintain emergency contact lists, evacuation plans, assembly-point information, fire maps, and other emergency preparedness documents.

Minimum Qualification
