To ensure the safety of guests, employees, and property by implementing and monitoring effective fire prevention, life safety, emergency response, and workplace safety standards across the resort.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, kitchens, restaurants, back-of-house areas, electrical rooms, stores, staff accommodation, and other critical areas to identify fire and safety hazards.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of fire extinguishers, hydrants, fire pumps, fire alarms, sprinklers, emergency exits, smoke detectors, and other fire-fighting equipment.
- Conduct regular fire drills, emergency evacuation drills, toolbox talks, and safety training for hotel employees.
- Maintain and update all Fire & Safety records, inspection checklists, incident reports, drill reports, and statutory documents as required.
- Respond to and manage fire emergencies, accidents, medical emergencies, and other safety incidents in coordination with the Security, Engineering, HR, and Operations teams.
- Monitor compliance with fire safety, occupational safety, hotel SOPs, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with local Fire Brigade, government authorities, contractors, and external agencies for inspections, certifications, and emergency preparedness.
- Conduct regular safety awareness sessions for employees and ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
- Maintain emergency contact lists, evacuation plans, assembly-point information, fire maps, and other emergency preparedness documents.

Minimum Qualification:
Graduate/Diploma in Fire & Safety, Industrial Safety, or a related field. Minimum Job Experience: 3-6 years of experience in Fire & Safety Reporting to: Head - Loss Prevention Travel: N/A
