Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a Front Line Officer- Fire Safety for an industrial facility in Jharkhand. The role requires strong firefighting and safety leadership, with duties spanning emergency response, equipment maintenance, and staff training.

You will coordinate drills, ensure compliance, and guide security teams during incidents to protect people and assets. The ideal candidate has 8–15 years in firefighting or safety management, plus a diploma/certification in Fire & Safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Firefighting Services & Emergency Readiness
  • Ensure availability, maintenance, and periodic inspection of all firefighting equipment and systems.
  • Lead and manage firefighting operations during emergencies, ensuring minimum response time and effective control.
  • Ensure timely refilling, replacement, and proper placement of portable fire extinguishers across all departments.
  • Plan and conduct regular fire drills and mock drills to assess emergency preparedness.
  • Ensure readiness and operational efficiency of fire and security teams at all times.
  • Implement and monitor Disaster Management Plan (DMP) across the facility.
  • Train security personnel and employees on firefighting techniques and emergency response procedures.
• Training, Liaison & Awareness
  • Organize and conduct regular training programs on fire safety, emergency response, and evacuation procedures.
  • Develop competency of fire and security teams through structured training initiatives.
  • Liaise with external agencies such as fire departments, police authorities, and transport authorities for compliance and emergency support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities to ensure effective coordination during emergencies.
  • Conduct awareness sessions and knowledge-sharing programs to promote a safety culture across the organization.
  • Support business continuity planning through effective risk mitigation and emergency preparedness strategies.
