Growth For Impact in Gurugram is seeking a Fire Safety Officer responsible for ensuring proper functioning and maintenance of fire safety systems, supervising safety works, and enforcing compliance with fire laws.

The role includes issuing permits, coordinating emergency drills, conducting training, educating occupants, implementing SOPs, and coordinating with local fire services for safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring proper functioning, routine checking and maintenance of all fire safety/fighting & detection systems installed in the buildings.
• Supervision on the maintenance of fire safety works.
• Inspecting building & premises for compliance with fire laws, checking complaints and aiding in the investigation of arson cases.
• Issuing work permit, hot work permit and other permits after inspecting the work area.
• Defining each role during emergency and conducting mock drills to ensure each person performs their allocated task properly.
• Conducting regular fire training for security, maintenance, and fire team members.
• Educating and training occupants on fire safety awareness.
• Implementing SOPs for the site for all fire & safety related equipment.
• Coordinating fire‑related emergency operations with local firefighting agencies.
• Conducting evacuation drills quarterly and a mock drill once a year for clients.
