Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Gurugram is seeking a Fire and Safety Officer to oversee maintenance and compliance of all fire safety systems in on-site facilities. You will supervise maintenance, issue permits, and coordinate with local authorities.

The role requires conducting mock drills, training occupants, and developing SOPs for fire equipment. The candidate will engage with government departments for NOCs and ensure safety standards across sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of fire safety systems.

• Inspect buildings for fire law compliance and assist in investigations.
• Issue permits after inspection of work areas.
• Define roles during emergencies and conduct drills.
• Conduct regular fire trainings for security, maintenance and fire teams.
• Educate occupants on fire safety awareness and SOPs.
• Coordinate fire-related emergency operations with local agencies.
• Conduct evacuation and mock drills quarterly and annually.
• Follow up with regulatory departments for NOCs.

Location: On-site –Gurugram, HR Scheduled Weekly Hours: 48

• Ensuring proper functioning, routine checking and maintenance of all the fire safety/fighting & detection systems installed in the buildings.
• Supervision on the maintenance of fire safety works.
• Inspecting building & premises for compliance with fire laws, checking complaints and aids in the investigation of arson cases.
• Issuing work permit, hot work permit and other permit after inspecting the work area.
• Defining each one role during emergency and conducting mock drills to ensure each one is performing their task properly allocated to them.
• Conducting regular Fire training to security, maintenance & to Fire team.
• Educating and training of occupants on Fire Safety Awareness
• Implementing of SOP,s for site for all Fire & Safety related equipment’s.
• Coordinates fire related emergency operations with local firefighting agencies.
• Conducting evacuation drill quarterly & mock drill once in a year for clients.
• Follow-up with Government administrative departments (PCB, NKDA, Fire Department ,HIDCO,Electrical Inspector) for getting different NOC’S.
