Job summary

Securix Multiple Solution on site in India seeks a Site Engineer to plan, supervise, and coordinate fire hydrant and sprinkler system projects on site, ensuring compliance with drawings and specs.

You will oversee daily site activities, liaise with clients and contractors, review drawings and hydraulics, supervise installation and testing, manage materials and safety, and ensure successful handover of completed systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute fire hydrant and sprinkler system projects as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure timely completion of project work.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and site teams for smooth project execution.
• Review fire fighting drawings, layouts, hydraulic calculations, and technical specifications.
• Monitor installation of hydrant piping, sprinkler piping, valves, pumps, hose reels, landing valves, and related equipment.
• Ensure proper routing, supports, alignment, and installation of fire fighting pipelines.
• Supervise installation and commissioning of fire pumps, jockey pumps, diesel pumps, and pump house systems.
• Ensure sprinkler heads, alarm valves, flow switches, pressure switches, and associated accessories are installed correctly.
• Check material requirements and coordinate with procurement and stores for timely availability of materials.
• Ensure all materials and equipment comply with approved makes, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Conduct and supervise hydrostatic pressure testing, flushing, testing, and commissioning of fire fighting systems.
• Coordinate inspection and testing with clients, consultants, fire authorities, and other concerned agencies.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, inspection reports, material records, and project documentation.
• Monitor manpower, material consumption, project progress, and overall site productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, work permits, PPE requirements, and site safety standards.
• Identify site issues, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure successful handover of the completed fire hydrant and sprinkler system.
