Job summary

ACCA Careers in Bangalore seeks a FinOps expert to manage cloud spend across multiple providers and global stakeholders, leveraging analytical skills and strong communication.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization using Python, Power BI, SQL, and automation tools, and partner with IT, Finance, Eng, Procurement and leadership.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in IT, Cloud Operations, Finance Operations with FinOps focus.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP billing models and cost optimization strategies.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modelling, chargeback/showback.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Power BI, SQL, Excel for automation and reporting.
• Expertise in FinOps programs (Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and communicate with global leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage global stakeholders across IT, Finance, Eng, Procurement and business teams.
• Lead FinOps cost optimization strategies and cloud spend governance.
• Develop executive dashboards and financial reports.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align budgets and forecasts.
• Leverage AI-enabled cost anomaly detection and automation.

This role requires strong FinOps expertise, excellent analytical capability, and exceptional communication skills to manage global stakeholders across IT, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, and business teams.

Description

• 5 to 7 years of experience in IT, Cloud Operations, Finance Operations, with strong expertise in FinOps and cloud cost management.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP billing models, pricing structures, commitment plans, and cloud cost optimization strategies.
• Strong financial skills in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modelling, chargeback/showback, and business analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Power BI, SQL, Excel, and cloud cost management tools for automation, reporting, analytics, and executive dashboards.
• Expertise in FinOps commitment programs such as Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Enterprise Discount Programs, Spot Instances, Sustained Use Discounts, and Committed Use Discounts.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage stakeholders, handle escalations, collaborate across global teams, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
• Experience leveraging AI and agentic AI solutions for cost anomaly detection, forecasting, workflow automation, and data-driven cloud financial insights.
