Job summary

Westbury Sportswear is seeking an Assistant Manager - FP&A to own the P&L and balance sheet for an assigned business unit. You will drive performance analytics and build robust forecasts to aid strategic planning within Finance.

You will partner with accounting to close books, maintain schedules, and deliver actionable insights to leadership. Strong Excel, forecasting, and modelling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CA or equivalent qualification required.
• 5+ years of FP&A, financial reporting, or related finance experience.
• Strong grasp of P&L and balance sheet mechanics.
• Advanced Excel and dashboarding/MIS skills.
• Sharp analytical ability and data-driven mindset.
• Forecasting and financial modelling capability.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly P&L and balance sheet for the assigned business/unit.
• Partner with accounting to close the books and validate numbers.
• Maintain balance sheet / P&L schedules and flag anomalies.
• Drive analytics on revenue, cost, and margin drivers to surface trends.
• Own variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. forecast) with defensible explanations.
• Build dashboards and MIS for real-time leadership visibility.
• Build and maintain rolling forecasts with solid assumptions.
• Support annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasts.
• Stress-test forecast assumptions against actual trends.
• Collaborate with business and operations to understand drivers behind numbers.
• Present findings and recommendations to the CFO and stakeholders.
