Tops is hiring an FP&A Analyst to support costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis from our head office. The role requires strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and the ability to communicate insights to finance and non-finance stakeholders.

You will develop annual budgets, analyze monthly performance against forecasts, and build detailed financial models while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy and processes.

Formación

• 8–10 years FP&A or related finance experience.
• Chartered Accountant desirable; finance/accounting degree.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and MS Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyse monthly performance vs budget/forecast; identify trends, variances, and risks.
• Prepare management dashboards and variance analysis.
• Support long-term strategic planning (3–5 year plans).
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis for leadership requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data, processes and planning systems.
• Provide recommendations to drive cost efficiencies and profitability.
• Monitor industry trends, competitors, and macroeconomic indicators to forecast performance.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and forecasts.
• Responsible for monthly closing of accounts.
• Knowledge of product costing including cost audit and manufacturing cost.

Job Role: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

Department: Finance

Reports To: Finance Head

Location: Head office

Job Purpose:

The FP&A professional is responsible for Costing budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis. The role requires strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and the ability to communicate financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyse monthly financial performance vs budget/forecast; identify trends, variances, and risks.
• Prepare management dashboards and reports, including variance analysis and keep track of different types of Budgets.
• Support long-term strategic planning, including 3- to 5-year financial plans.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and leadership requests.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy, financial processes, and planning systems.
• Provide recommendations to drive cost efficiencies and improve profitability.
• Monitor industry trends, competitors, and macroeconomic indicators to forecast future business performance.
• Build & maintain detailed financial models and forecasts.
• Responsible for Monthly closing of accounts
• Having good conceptual knowledge of product costing (including cost audit), manufacturing cost.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Chartered accountant is desirable for the role, Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or related field with good experience can be seen.
• 8 - 10 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, or related finance roles.
