ABB in Bengaluru is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to drive performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and month-end close. You will partner with divisions, hubs and functions to understand drivers, deliver MIS reporting, and support audits.

Strong analytics and English fluency are essential; SAP FICO experience is preferred. You will contribute to building robust financial planning processes, maintain controls, and deliver timely insights to enable sustainable business

Formación

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
• CMA/CA/MBA Finance preferred.
• 3–6 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Month end closing activities and MIS reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication; fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• Perform analysis of business performance versus Plan and forecast.
• Conduct month-end closing activities and MIS reporting for the business/functions.
• Collaborate with divisions, hubs and countries to analyze drivers of performance.
• Analyze overhead absorption and identify root causes.
• Carry out cost/benefit analysis and working capital/NWC reviews.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and support financial planning and forecasting.
• Assist audits and maintain SOPs; ensure data accuracy and controls.

Performing month end closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business / functions.Working with the other financial professionals in Divisions / Hubs / Countries / functions to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance.Analysis of overhead under / over absorption indicating root cause. Performing cost / benefit analysis and analysis of inventories, NWCPreparing ad-hoc reports as per business / function’s request. Supporting preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning & forecasting, Supporting audits.Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions. Optimize own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements.Identify areas for process / report standardization across different countries, divisions and business units. Ensure processes and controls within own area of responsibility are implemented in line with Group and unit requirements.Maintain proper audit trail and documentation for future tax / internal / external audits and reviews. Maintain SOPs for all activities performed.Qualifications for the roleBachelor or Master’s degree in a Finance and/or Accounting.
