PSA BDP, a leader in global supply chain and logistics, seeks a Financial Operations Team Lead in Bengaluru. The role oversees daily transaction processing, guides a team of 5–15 finance analysts, ensures policy compliance, and supports month-end close and audits.

Strong ERP and Excel skills are essential for driving accuracy and efficiency. Candidate needs 13–15 years in OTC/PTP/RTR finance operations, with excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and stakeholder communication abilities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Mathematics.
  • Experience: 13 - 15 years in progressive OTC, PTP, RTR financial operations.
  • Technical Skills: ERP platforms (such as Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial compliance, and OTC, RTR or P2P cycle best practices.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and stakeholder communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations Management - Monitor and manage daily transaction processing. Allocate work among team members. Ensure adherence to SLAs and turnaround times. Resolve operational issues and bottlenecks.
  • Team Supervision - Lead a team of 5–15 finance analysts/executives. Provide day-to-day guidance and support. Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance. Conduct regular one-on-one discussions with team members.
  • Quality Assurance - Review transactions, reconciliations, and reports. Ensure accuracy and compliance with policies.Identify and correct processing errors. Support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Escalation Management - Act as the first level of escalation for process issues. Coordinate with other teams to resolve operational problems. Escalate critical issues to the Associate Manager when required.
  • Month-End Support - Assist in month-end closing activities. Ensure timely completion of reconciliations and reporting tasks. Support audit and compliance requirements.
  • Training & Development - Train new hires on processes and systems. Conduct refresher training sessions. Share best practices and process updates. Help build team capability and cross-training plans.
  • Reporting & MIS - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. Track KPIs and productivity metrics. Highlight risks, delays, and improvement opportunities.
  • Continuous Improvement - Identify process improvement opportunities. Participate in automation and standardization initiatives. Support Lean and continuous
