Job description

Job Summary:

The Finance Operation Process leader will drive establishing baseline processes, increasing efficiency and leading continuous improvement across the finance operations teams and develop appropriate performance indicators to convey fact-based success measurements. In this role, the Finance Operations Process leader will drive the injection of contemporary finance practices rooted in automation, data modeling and integrated business planning and reporting. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position regularly exercise discretionary and regular decision-making authority.

  • Eliminate waste and non-value-added activities using Lean principles to build a results-driven, low-bureaucracy operating culture

  • Apply DMAIC methodology to identify process gaps, design solutions, and deliver measurable improvements in operational efficiency

  • Develop and deliver role-based training programs to drive consistent process adoption, reducing error rates and rework across Finance Operations

  • Conduct regular internal audits using control frameworks to verify that process documentation is accurate, current, and compliant

  • Define and track KPIs post-implementation — including cost savings, cycle time, and error reduction — to validate ROI and sustain process gains

  • Lead continuous improvement and automation initiatives (RPA, workflow tools) with clear business cases showing efficiency, cost, and risk-reduction benefits

  • Apply knowledge of modern finance practices — cloud ERP systems, data modeling, and automated controls — to strengthen financial operations

  • Manage cross-functional project teams through full project lifecycles, from charter and scope definition to delivery and handovers using structured PM frameworks

  • Perform root cause analysis on complex operational issues, developing corrective actions that align with business objectives and financial targets

  • Champion a Kaizen mindset across teams, embedding a culture of incremental improvement, accountability, and quality at every process level

  • Support additional initiatives assigned by leadership, contributing finance and operational expertise across evolving business priorities

  • Drive end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) transformation by streamlining procurement, invoice processing, and payment workflows — reducing cycle times, strengthening vendor controls, and delivering measurable cost and compliance improvements

An MBA and CPA Certification are highly desirable. Minimum of 10 years’ experience with general ledger, P&L and Balance Sheet.
