Job summary

PSA BDP is seeking a Financial Operations Senior Associate to execute end-to-end finance processes across AP, AR, R2R, GL, and related areas. You will ensure accuracy, meet SLAs, and support month-end close with strong analytical skills.

Based in Bengaluru, this permanent role requires 4–6 years of OTC/PTP/RTR experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and collaboration with regional and global finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Mathematics.
• 4–6 years of progressive OTC, PTP, RTR financial operations experience, with 1–2 years in SME capacity.
• Proficiency with financial software and MS Excel.
• Understanding of accounting principles, financial compliance, and OTC/RTR/P2P cycle best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem solving; ability to handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Process Execution: end-to-end finance ops in AP, AR, R2R, GL, Fixed Assets, Treasury, or Intercompany Accounting.
• Month-End and Reporting: post journals, reconciliations, variance analyses, close activities.
• Quality & Compliance: adhere to policies, maintain audit trails, support audits.
• Stakeholder Management: be primary contact for internal customers and global teams.
• Process Improvement & Automation: identify standardization and automation opportunities.
• Knowledge Management: SME for processes, update SOPs and train new members.
• Team Support: guide Associates, support workload management and quality reviews.

Job Description:

• Process Execution - Perform end-to-end finance operations in AP, AR, R2R, GL, Fixed Assets, Treasury, or Intercompany Accounting. Handle complex and exception transactions independently. Ensure compliance with established SLAs and process controls. Review and validate critical transactions before final processing.
• Month-End and Reporting Activities - Prepare and post journal entries. Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Assist in preparing management reports and schedules.
• Quality & Compliance - Ensure adherence to accounting policies and internal controls. Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails. Support internal and external audit requirements. Identify and report control gaps or process risks.
• Stakeholder Management - Serve as a key contact for internal customers and business units. Resolve process-related queries and escalations. Collaborate with regional and global finance teams.
• Process Improvement & Automation - Identify opportunities for process standardization and efficiency improvements. Participate in automation, ERP enhancement, and transformation projects. Support implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge Management - Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned processes. Assist in training and onboarding new team members. Update process documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Team Support - Provide guidance to Associates and Analysts. Assist Team Leads in workload management. Support quality reviews and process governance activities

Experience and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Mathematics
• Experience: 4 – 6 years of progressive OTC, PTP, RTR financial operations experience, with at least 1-2 years in a SME capacity.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with financial software and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Knowledge: Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial compliance, and OTC, RTR or P2P cycle best practices.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical problem solving and the ability to handle sensitive information .
