Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations across multiple business divisions.
• Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual books of accounts.
• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS, and management reports.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Coordinate statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Liaise with auditors, consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor debtor collections, ageing, and receivables.
• Oversee vendor payments and account reconciliations.
• Ensure effective cash flow management and working capital optimization.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 10-12 Account Executives.
• Allocate responsibilities and monitor team productivity.
• Ensure timely completion of financial deliverables.
• Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Establish and strengthen internal financial controls.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies, SOPs, and company procedures.
• Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities.

Job Summary

The Manager Finance & Accounts will be responsible for managing day-to-day finance and accounting operations across business divisions, ensuring statutory compliance, driving financial reporting and controls, and leading a team of approximately 10-12 finance professionals.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial reporting, taxation, compliance, treasury, MIS, working capital, budgeting, and team management, preferably with experience in Retail, Distribution, Export, E-commerce, or related industries.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations across multiple business divisions.
• Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual books of accounts.
• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS, and management reports.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable regulations.
• Coordinate statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Liaise with auditors, consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.

Accounts Receivable & Payable

• Monitor debtor collections, ageing, and receivables.
• Oversee vendor payments and account reconciliations.
• Ensure effective cash flow management and working capital optimization.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 1012 Account Executives.
• Allocate responsibilities and monitor team productivity.
• Ensure timely completion of financial deliverables.

Candidate Profile

• CA preferred; B.Com / M.Com candidates with strong relevant experience may also be considered.
• 812 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Minimum 35 years of managerial/team leadership experience.
• Experience managing a finance/accounting team is essential.
