Job summary

Peak XV Partners is seeking a Financial Controller to join its AI-focused consumer MedTech portfolio. You will own financial operations across US and India, build budgeting/forecasting, and ensure statutory compliance and internal controls as the company scales.

The role requires 5–7 years in finance controllership, prior US entity experience, and a passion for scaling finance in a fast-growing AI business. B2B SaaS/MedTech exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing US entities is a must.
• Experience building finance function from 0–1 for scaling AI/tech company is desirable.

• Oversee and ensure adherence to all statutory compliance requirements for both regions
• Develop and maintain financial models to support the company's strategic planning
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process
• Oversee the company's internal controls, cash management and audit processes
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and auditors.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in finance controllership, accounting, or a related field
• Prior experience managing US entites is a must
• Building the finance function from 0-1 for a scaling AI company excites you
• You understand budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting like the back of your hand
• Past experience working in B2C SaaS or MedTech is an advantage
