Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end financial management, consolidate multi-currency P&L and present monthly reviews.
• Monitor destination-level margins, markup adherence, and profitability KPIs with ops teams.
• Manage vendor payment schedules, settlements, and credit terms across destinations.
• Oversee revenue recognition and ensure data from Salesforce/Sembark/Tally/Eprompt integrates into reports.
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting for each destination vertical.
• Design internal financial controls, approvals matrix, and SOPs for cash advances.
• Ensure GST, TDS, FEMA (overseas), tax filings, and ROC compliance.
• Oversee A/R and A/P cycles and agency/vendor collections.
• Evaluate pricing models for group tours and packages; advise sales and ops on margins.
• Lead monthly MIS including incentive computations for DMC operations.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and legal advisors for audit readiness.
• Participate in tech adoption; assist in configuring financial modules in Salesforce or ERP tools.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end financial management – consolidate multi-currency P&L and present monthly business reviews to leadership
• Monitor destination-level margins, markup adherence, and profitability KPIs in close coordination with operations managers
• Manage vendor payment schedules, advance settlements, and credit terms suppliers across destinations
• Oversee booking-level revenue recognition, ensuring sales data from Salesforce / Sembark /tally / Eprompt etc integrates accurately into financial reports
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting for each destination vertical; track actuals vs. budget with variance commentary
• Design and enforce internal financial controls – approvals matrix, expense policies, SOPs for cash advances and reimbursements
• Manage statutory compliance: GST, TDS, FEMA (for overseas payments), income tax filings, and ROC requirements
• Oversee accounts payable / receivable cycles, ensuring turnaround benchmarks are met for agent collections and vendor disbursements
• Evaluate pricing models for group tours, FIT packages, and MICE – provide margin guidance to sales and ops teams before confirmation
• Lead monthly MIS preparation, including incentive computations for the DMC operations team in line with approved incentive frameworks
• Drive audit readiness and coordinate with external auditors, banks, and legal advisors
• Participate in technology adoption initiatives – assist in configuring financial modules within Salesforce or other ERP tools
